Secondhand Dreamcar is a new soul/roots/rock supergroup from Edmonton, AB. Fronted by Canadian Folk Music Award nominee Dana Wylie, the band also features Harry Gregg (Dave Babcock and the Nightkeepers) on bass, Jamie Cooper (Nightkeepers, Up and Over Trio, Obsessions Octet) on drums, Kyle Mosiuk (The Hello Darlins) and Chad Murphy (Dallas Smith) on guitar, and Rooster Davis on organ. This group of Alberta heavies is crafting a distinct, funky, and lyrically driven sound that will give you plenty to dance about, plenty to listen to, and an abundance of soulful vibes to feed your heart. Journalist and programmer Peter North has deemed them the most exciting act to come out of Edmonton since KD Lang and The Reclines. They’ve just finished recording their debut full-length album, which they look forward to releasing in mid-2024.
